A Lover and A Murderer

Topic:http://litmuse.net/prompt_guilty

I believe Roswell Gilbert really loved his wife dearly. His wife was suffering and she did not want to be live and suffer so she wanted her husband to kill her. It is hard to have to live with a disease like she had, but there are other actions that he could have taken other than taking the life of her away. Although, he killed his wife does not mean he did not love her and want her to be with him. Now it is time for him to take action to the crime he convicted. Insstead of taking matters into his own hands there was something else he should've done.

Roswell was faced with several problems by giving his wife the wishes that she wanted. When he was taken to court to face the actions with killing his wife. But Roswell should went and talked to the doctor to see what they could have done instead of taking the life of her away although she had a disease that was very aggravating and irritating sometimes not know where she was or who someone was that she was seeing. It is very irritating to be confused about someone you know and can't think of their name.

I think the actions that Roswell received by getting life in prison was exactly what he deserved. If I was married and my husband got a disease or any type of matter and he was not in his state of mine I would not kill him just because he wanted me to end his misery and pain. I know that there are other options besides killing someone. There are several types of pain medications and other types of medicines to treat someone where they will not have to die. I know from being sick and in pain alot that most of the medication they have today will take the pain away from you so therefore you won't have to kill someone.

I bet that Roswell regrets killing his wife however he killed her and that he would have seeked other treatment. He does not want to finish living his wife in prison I know, but since he took the matters and thought that is what he should do he has to pay the price. Consequences are not always the best outcome, but maybe he will realize that he should never take someones life just becasue they don't want to be alive anymore. He deserves everything that he has gotten.

Pass. Some grammatical issues, but an otherwise thoughtful response.
